Demonstration macro of geographical plotting capability
GEOGUI <PORT> <REMOTE> Displays a macro that demonstrates the useage of much of the plotting capability of the NeXtMidas framework. <PORT> NOT USED <REMOTE> NOT USED When executed an application frame will be shown that contains interactive plots of the world, a line spectrum, an image, and a table. The application is broken into three columns. The left hand column displays different menus controlling the display of data and displaying the metadata for the world plot. The center of the display contains a world plot on which different features can be overlayed and a table containing metadata on the features which can be displayed on the map. The right hand panel shows two different styles of line plots and an image raster of a penny. Menu behavior - Mouse click on the title will expand/collapse the menu. - Left clicking on the value of a menu entry will display a popup menu containing the available values or a text entry field if the value is unconstrained. - Right/Left clicking on the circle between the menu label and its value will cause the value to cycle through the available settings. Map/Plot behavior - Left mouse click in the window will cause geolocation features to change according to where you click. - Left mouse click and drag will cause a viewing box to be drawn. When the mouse button is released, the map will zoom to display the selected area. - Right mouse click will cause the map to revert to its "clean" state. - Middle mouse click will cause a popup menu to be displayed which will allow you to discover the properties of the map and all of its layers. Table behavior - Clicking in a sell will select that cell - Clicking on a row or column header will select that row or column. - Holding shift or control will allow you to perform multiple selections.
