ICE Enterprises is currently working on NeXtMidas, a networked version of the Midas shell written in Java. It is compatible with the Midas macro language and can run X-Midas primitives as well as native commands written in Java or C. Native commands run on the host processor, DSPs, or FPGAs. NeXtMidas is the primary software development and test environment for ICE hardware.
- Languages: Java, HTML, Midas MACRO. Optional: C, FORTRAN.
- Platforms: JavaVM, OpenVMS, Digital UNIX, Solaris, Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X
This software is not an ICE product. NeXtMidas is supported and maintained at www.nextmidas.com.
