<p>Manage acquisition or copy of ICE packets into a Midas file/pipe</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>Manage acquisition or copy of ICE packets into a Midas file/pipe<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> &lt;input file&gt; Name of the input devIce/address/file/pipe stream<br /> &lt;output file&gt; Name of the output file/pipe/socket<br /> &lt;format&gt; Data Format<br /> &lt;rate&gt; Data Rate<br /> <br /> This routine reads data from an ICE source, which may be a NIC, devICE,<br /> file, PIC Ram rtFile or pipe. <br /> <br /> The Unicast format is:<br /> udp:192.168.0.1:7777<br /> <br /> The Multicast format is:<br /> udp:192.168.0.1:7777/224.1.2.3<br /> <br /> Where the first address and port are of the host network card to receive from.<br /> The second address is the Multicast address to join to.<br /> <br /> The expected format and rate are used to create the output file in NIC mode.<br /> <br /> The transfer length /TL=n is used for output file writes. <br /> It must be a multiple of the incoming ICE packet size.<br /> <br /> The /PKTHDR=option switch defines what to do with the packet header in the output stream.<br /> The default option STRIP, removes the ICE packet headers from the output stream.<br /> Other options are ATTACH, DETACH, or COPY which can be used to peel|merge the packet <br /> headers to|from separate .pkt files. Note that non-file output resources do not support<br /> detached packet header files.<br /> <br /> The /REPLAY controls the startup mode of the routine as follows:<br /> <br /> /REPLAY=0 Stop mode - bit bucket for input packets, no output<br /> /REPLAY=1 Once mode - process the next packet<br /> /REPLAY=2 Continuous - process packets continuously (default piped)<br /> <br /> In NeXtMidas, the /REPLAY=values can be specified by the item number or name.<br /> <br /> Switches:<br /> /SOURCE=n Source type NIC|FILE|RTFILE|DEVICE<br /> /CFG=table Configuration table for a devICE<br /> /PT=type Packet type = ICE|VRT|SDDS<br /> /PKTHDR=opt Defines what to do with the packet header (default=STRIP)<br /> /POLL=sec Seconds to pause polling for new data <br /> /MAXOUT=n Maximum number of samples in output file (file-to-file autostop)<br /> /CHECK Test the packet sequences for any drops <br /> <br /> &lt;/pre&gt;</div>
